    VOL 2 LAB 6

ok - i don't know what's going on with this lab but it seeeems solution isn't working or actually to the point of the request

    please anyone -

under segment 8.1 MPLS Security it stated to allow TDP only between R4 and R6 and block everything else

access list mentioned under the solution guide seems to allow only ldp between peers

either i missed the question or maybe there was a mix up

if anyone can respond - please do !

in addition its only enabled on the interface on the R6 router - i think someone forgot to add it to the interface to R6 on R4 and that is why i cannot see it under the final configuration of R4 ...

    Re: VOL 2 LAB 6

ok - no one answered - so here goes again

i have gone through 8 (1-8) of the labs in VOL2 and it seems this lab has the most complex solution i could find

i have posted a few posts on it and recieved no answer - either no one know why or no one has time to assist

    examples :

    * 4.1 (MPLS) - it states not to use LDP to accomplish MPLS peers - i guess you mean to use TDP - but in the solutions you do use LDP and further on use access lists to allow LDP traffic - ???!!!

    * also there is something there i did not see in any of the other labs before and after (till 8 including) - something with the distance of isis (19 i think - task 3.3 under R9's router isis) - can anyone explain that part also please

i am going through the lab again now on the racks - might find more relating this lab and post it here on this post - so if anyone has any explanation help is much appreciated as i am lost ...

    thanks

EDIT/NOTE - it seems this cannot be done with TDP - as in 4.2 you need to add CISCO password to the MPLS neighbors - i am not sure if this is possible in TDP - only in LDP - which means maybe problem is in the request of the WB and not the solution ...
