That .net file uses two instances of Dynamips. One running on port 7200 and one on 7201. Are you sure that you have started two instaces of Dynamips listening on those ports?

There is a special dynamips-start.cmd file from Internetwork Expert that should start two instances. You might have run the version that came with Dynamips instead.

Watch this video for some help http://classroom.internetworkexpert.com/p27794135/

Also try not to double post questions.

I hope it works out for you Smile.

Yes, please avoid posting the same thing twice. It makes for a great deal of confusion.

Also please don't put "Urgent" in the subject line unless the problem really is urgent. I know how some people seem to think everything they ask is urgent...

I got it.I will go through the video and if I get any problems, I will consult the pros in this forum.

As regards to the "urgent" part, it is not urgent to you but to me.

    Thanks for the support.

Hmm.. I guess I don't understand why something like this would be so urgent.

Re: A serious Difficulty with Dynamips: 4 months to my lab...Please Urgent Help

I have successfully installed dynamips but I get this error message when I download and run the Cisco IOS. Now I think maybe the image is corrupted or there might be a bug. But I might be wrong:

Re: A serious Difficulty with Dynamips: 4 months to my lab...Please Urgent Help

That looks like some sort of memory error.  Make sure that the "ram=" field is sufficient.  Also run MD5 on the image vs what the MD5 shows on CCO to make sure the image isn't corrupt.

I have successfully installed dynamips but I get this error message when I download and run the Cisco IOS. Now I think maybe the image is corrupted or there might be a bug. But I might be wrong:

Re: A serious Difficulty with Dynamips: 4 months to my lab...Please Urgent Help

    Hi Brian,

I configured dynamips to read another version of the IOS and I get the error below:

***Error: 209-Unable to start VM instance 'R1'

    ...........................................................'R2'

..........................................................' Cell mode ATM' and the same output for R8, R9, TermServ, BB3 BB2 BB1

    R3 boots properly.
