    EIGRP Troubleshooting

    Im doing some practice on EIGRP and im having the following console message

    IP-EIGRP(Default-IP-Routing-Table:1): Neighbor 172.18.75.185 not on common subnet for GigabitEthernet0/1
    IP-EIGRP(Default-IP-Routing-Table:1): Neighbor 172.18.75.1 not on common subnet for GigabitEthernet0/3

    interface GigabitEthernet0/1
     ip address 172.18.75.1 255.255.255.240

    interface GigabitEthernet0/3
     ip address 172.18.75.185 255.255.255.248

    !
    router eigrp 1
     redistribute static
     network 172.18.75.0 0.0.0.255
     no auto-summary
    !

    Any ideas why?

    Is it possible that your two Gb interfaces are in the same vlan? Each interface should be sending EIGRP hellos, but shouldn't receive the other interfaces hellos unless they are in the same vlan.
