Re: Felt like a homerun, but was strike one...

    Hi Mike

Did you asked for a re-read?  If so, how did it go?

    Regards,

    Hector.

Re: Felt like a homerun, but was strike one...

    Hi Everyone,

I took my third attempt in Sydney for R&S on Dec 12 th 2008 and i was very very very sure of a pass and surprisingly when i got

the result i have 77%. I have never been so disappointed and heartbroken as the feeling was really greaat  when i walked out of the Lab.

I had full IP reachability by 1130pm and i was able to move on to the Non core topics before lunch!!! when i finished all the tasks it was 3.30 pm and

i started going through the whole lab veryfying each and every question and IP reachability again at the end and  realised some really silly stupid mistakes which

was corrected and i even estimated my score to be 87% and when i saw my score report , i have three 100 a couple of 70s and 65 and about 33 in the Security

section which was deliberately not answered as it would break the whole network

Now i am in a similar situation like Hector and some other candidates..what do i do from now? it cant be lack of technology skills or speed as i have given my

bestand the best and i had no other choice other than to Request for a reread - which was done on the same day of the exam - as the line between success and

fail is just 3 points ONLY!! -one or may be two tasks away

Scott, Brians and Hector and other fellow candidates please advise as to what  are my chances, i am now recalculating every single point and i still feel i have to

get that 80%!!  and also how much does it normally take for the reread to come through?? i have noticed on IE Customer Testominials that three candidates

apart from Hector got through after a reread request..hopefully my turn will be there sooon!

    Thanks and Regards,

    Mohan Kumar

Re: Felt like a homerun, but was strike one...

    Hello Mohan

Let's wait until you get the reread results, during this time try to relax and to get some rest, I know it is very difficult, I couldn't even sleep for the hole first week.  The results, as stated in cisco's web page, can take up to three weeks.  Hopefully, as you said, with just one task the result may change, so lets just wait 'til then and tell us how did it go.

    Regards,

    Hector.
