RE: RE: Online SP Bootcamp 17-21Oct08

    Hi Dev,

There's a topic there very interesting. And i know you and other members posted some questions about it:

"CCIE Service Provider lab candidates who are within two months of their lab exam. Because this is an advanced Bootcamp, introductory material will not be covered. Students are expected to have attended the CCIE Service Provider Advanced Technologies Class or watched the CCIE Service Provider Advanced Technologies Class-on-Demand, along with having completed at least the first five CCIE Service Provider Lab Workbook Volume 2 labs prior to attending. This class will also benefit CCIE candidates who may have attempted the actual CCIE Lab Exam without passing and feel they need to learn a more advanced and structured approach to CCIE Lab strategy. Candidates can greatly enhance their knowledge and understanding of such advanced topics as Inter-AS MPLS VPNs, Service Provider Multicast & QoS, and troubleshooting MPLS Traffic Engineering before attempting the Lab again."

I really thought that this was out of scope of the current blueprint. But maybe it isn't...

InterAS MPLS VPN is part of blueprint:

    Section VI L3//L2 VPN, D.

    Antonio,

Inter-AS MPLS VPN  is the part of blueprint, so we have to work on it! even you might have seen couple of post about inter-AS MVPN, so its kind of hack you have to go through! running MSDP between the different AS and bring up the MVPN tunnels between customer sites... even you can find good number of posts in this forum also about the same!

I have tones of doubts about the exam stuff! like how they are doing grading the lab and lot many!!!

    regards

    Dev

I'm sorry, i don't know why i read it as InterAS Multicast VPN :)

    Sorry guys.

By the way, here's how i made it work without MSDP or MDT AF:

    Antonio,

Wow, your mini labs webpage is really amazing! Congratulations, great job!!!

My proposal is to move our discussion about InterAS Mcast to a separate (new) topic .

    Cheers,
