Hi all,

Just a basic question; what sort of results do we get after the CCIE lab ? just passed/failed or any marks or perhaps a report for each section ?

From what I've read, if you pass, you get get a congrats with your digits.  No score report.  If you fail, you'll get a percentage score report broken up by section or topic.

Unfortunately I can confirm that the score report is in a format similar to:

Section - - - Section Score

1. Bridging and Switching - - - xx%

2. IP IGP Routing Protocols - - - xx%

3. IP/IOS Features - - - xx%

4. QoS - - - xx%

5. Multicast - - - xx%

6. Security - - - xx%

7. IP EGP Protocols - - - xx%

There is no bottom line score, so it is necessary to remember how many possible points there were in each section in order to calculate an approximate overall score.

I am hoping to come away from my next attempt on January 12 with a 5-digit number instead of a score report!
